With a background in Marketing & Graphic Design, I bring a unique perspective to every shoot. But where I truly thrive is behind the camera, building personal connections with each of my clients. My photography journey began by capturing the stunning landscapes of the Peruvian Andes, and it led me to pursue a career in commercial photography here in Canada. Today, I’m grateful to be doing what I love—creating meaningful, visually striking images that tell your story.

Family
My world revolves around my passionate and very loud Italian family. Although I am a Dutch/South African, my two grown girls definitely take after their Italian father, 100%. Dinner-time is loud and often heated, the language is colourful at best, but the deep love and passion that fills our home is what makes my family the heartbeat of my existence
Foods
Having lived and travelled to many interesting and exciting places, one would think that I must have a very interesting palate. Truth be told, it’s anything but. My favourite foods include; lasagne and homemade pizza, homemade soup and lemon meringue pie.
Travels
Having lived as a 'travelling-spouse' on four continents has allowed me to visit incredible places worldwide. My interest in photography started as a hobby while capturing the breathtaking landscapes of the Peruvian Andes. I also developed a love for taking pictures of food and people because of the diverse cultures and wonderful individuals I've encountered and come to love.
Pet hates
Mmmm…. Where do I start? Chewing sounds, people driving too close or too slow, bad spelling, line-cutters, rudeness and when people don’t put their shopping carts back. I also can’t do laziness and spam in all its forms.
Hobbies
There are only a few things that really ‘float my boat’, (pardon the pun) : Dragon Boat Racing, talking about Dragon Boat Racing and training hard for the upcoming Dragon Boat season. Formula 1, (and Ferrari in particular) has also managed to captivate my heart over the years. FORZA FERRARI SEMPRE!
Guilty pleasures
One of my absolute favourite things to do is travel. Now I’m not talking about family holidays or weekend getaways. I’m talking about Solo Travel. There’s something about doing my own thing, when I want that really appeals to me. I also love fluffy, white hotel robes and a glass of Prosecco while watching a gorgeous sunset.

How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember! From taking pictures of my sisters as a kid with a little point and shoot, to landscape photography in the Peruvian Andes many years later. Photography has always played a big part in my life. A decision to pursue it formally at college level however has changed everything that I thought I knew about photography… and I am grateful!
Candid or posed?
Since both candid and posed photography have their own unique benefits, I will use either technique in order to achieve your desired results. Candid photography captures a subject in their natural state, often resulting in more geniune and spontaneous expressions, whereas posed photography would allow me to control the composition to achieve a specific look. Additionally, a posed stance can help to eliminate double chins or awkward slouches that may be present in candid shots.
How do payments work?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on services upon booking with the remainder paid one week before the day of your session. (With the exception of headshots). Headshots are payable upon booking your session. In the event of an unforeseen disaster on the day of your shoot, an alternative date will be agreed upon.
All prices are subject to tax (HST) and are not included in any listed prices. HST is non negotiable. I accept debit, credit, or e-transfer.
How would you describe your style?
My style of photography can best be described as creative utilizing bright colours and bold compositions to capture my subjects/objects in a unique and striking way. I am a photographer with a keen eye for detail which allows me to create high-quality images that stand out. I believe that I possess a strong technical understanding of my craft and I utilize the latest equipment and techniques to produce images that are both polished and visually stunning.

Absolutely! I’m excited for any opportunity to travel for work. My photography and the colourful dishes that I create are largely influenced by the culture and charm of the beautiful countries where I have lived. For me, travel, food, people and photography go hand in hand.
